Instructions for the tournament
How to play?
1. Write down the gamertags of your player in your group. Do this 1 hour atleast before the tournament starts. You should do this if you qualify from your group, meaning that you should write down the names of the players that you meet in the qualifying stage also. After you done this...
2. When you load up FIFA Road To World Cup game press the XBOX Guide button in the middle. Go to your friends list and add ALL of the players you are matched up with to your friends list.
3. If you have a * besides your name in the schedule you should create the game. Go to Game Menu, XBOX Live then Unranked match. Choose Private = Yes and choose 4 minutes for group grame and if its the final or 3rd place game choose 10 minutes.
4. After you have created your game go to your friends list ( Do not forget to accept friends that add you also ) by pushing the XBOX Guide button again in the middle. Highlight the name of the player you are going to play and press the X button to Invite the player to the game. The player who recieves the invite will see on his screen " ***** Wants to play " where ***** is the gamertag of the opposite player. When you see this popup press the XBOX Guide button in the middle and choose Accept Game Invite.
5. Now the XBOX and the Game will restart from the beginning. Do not worry this is supposed to happen. When the Game restarts it will go directly to the game you have been invited too. For thoose of you who create the game please be patient it can take up to two-three minutes for the player to join your game. If he doesnt join the game in two-three minutes try sending and invite. If the player doesnt show up for the game or the creator doesnt send an invite 10 minutes after game start ( the time set on the schedule ) the opposite player will win the game.
6. If this is a group stage game playing, you should quit playing after 2 half ( periods ) FULLTIME!!! In group stage games the Extra time and penalty scores arent counted. In 1/8, 1/4, Semi, Final and 3rd place game Extra Time and Penalties are counted. After each game BOTH players should send and email to xboxlivetoday@gmail.com where the result of the game is presented. The email should look like this " RESULT: ENGLAND - BULGARIA 2 - 1 ". If in the final the game continues to penalties you should report in the mail the results including the penalities like this " RESULT: ENGLAND - BULGARIA 2 - 2 PENALTIES 4 - 3 "
If a player doesnt show up for the game, invite or creation, within 10 minutes after game start the win will count for the player who showed up. So its all about being fast. If you have any questions about the instructions please feel free to mail your questions
